Full Renovations& Home Additions
Sandy, Oregon · Portland Metro
What We Do
When One RoomIsn't Enough.
Some projects outgrow a single scope. A kitchen becomes a kitchen and a living room. A renovation turns into a full floor. A new addition changes the whole layout of the house. These are the projects that require a team that can manage complexity — not just show up and frame.
Start to Finish Construction manages complete home renovations and structural additions as a single point of accountability. Every trade — structural, mechanical, finish — is coordinated in-house. One team, one contract, one timeline. The name says it all.

Common Questions
Full Renovation FAQs.
How long does a full home renovation take?
A multi-room renovation typically takes 2 to 5 months depending on scope. Structural additions or whole-home overhauls can run longer. We build a detailed project timeline into your proposal before work begins.
Do you handle permits for additions and structural work?
Yes. All permits — building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical — are pulled and managed by our team. We coordinate all required inspections and approvals throughout the project.
Can I stay in my home during a full renovation?
It depends on the scope. For partial renovations we can often phase the work to keep most of the home livable. For complete overhauls we'll walk through the realistic options during your consultation.
Do I need a separate architect or engineer?
For most renovation and addition projects, we coordinate any required structural engineering directly. For larger projects we can recommend and work alongside an architect — and manage that relationship on your behalf.
